I’m New!

Welcome!

If you are new to St Francis Church, we would love to meet you and get you connected. Whether you’re visiting, exploring faith for the first time, returning to church or looking for a place to call home, we are so pleased that you have found your way here.

What kind of church are you?

St Francis is a Bible focussed, friendly church, based in Salisbury, in the UK. We are part of the Church of England and have a strong emphasis on worship, prayer, Bible teaching and encountering the Holy Spirit. Our services are relaxed; there is no need to dress up or act in a certain way – we want you to be yourself, so come as you are.

Who goes to your church?

St Francis draws people from many backgrounds into a family. There are people representing most age groups and stages of life, and also many at different stages of faith. All are welcome.

Do you meet at other times of the week?

We believe the best way to get involved is to get connected in a Life Group. Most groups have a mixture of friendship, food, worship and prayer, as well as a focus on serving our wider community.

What else do you do?

We want people to encounter God, be equipped to serve and to engage with the world around us. Our logo is “Life with God” which means we don’t just meet on Sundays and forget about it for the rest of the week.  We run toddler groups, parenting courses, youth groups, bereavement courses, a Friday Café and much more. See here for what’s on at the moment.

Getting here

Buses R4 and R11 stop near the church on Beatrice Road or Castle Road (Click here for more information). There is a church car park behind the church and 2 disabled car park spaces in front of the church. There are 2 bike racks.

Facilities

We are wheelchair friendly, and have disabled toilets. We can easily move the chairs in church to create spaces for wheelchairs wherever you would like to sit.

We have a hearing loop facility should you require one.

We have 3 gender neutral toilets at the back of church, one with an infant changing table.

Refreshments We meet after both the 9.30 & 11am services for free drinks, to chat and to get to know each other.
