Vicar (Church leader)
Paul was originally a building surveyor and still enjoys DIY especially demolition! He is married to Lynn who is headteacher of a local primary school. Paul enjoys kayaking and eating pub lunches with Lynn. Paul was a curate (Assistant Leader) in Edinburgh, and then planted and led a new church in Basingstoke, before coming to Salisbury to lead St Francis.
Paul has Saturday as his day off but is available for urgent pastoral needs.
Vicar of St Lawrence
After a degree in Social Policy, Tessa worked in mental health and community development initiatives in Nottinghamshire. She joined the staff team as a Vicar of St Lawrence in 2010 and has a passion for encouraging people in their faith and nurturing their gifts. Tessa enjoys visiting art exhibitions, ballet and theatre performances, reading and writing poetry, baking and spending time with family and friends.
Curate (Associate Church Leader)
Matt is married to Rachel and they have three children, Abi, Zach and Anna. He joined St Francis in July 2017 after training for ordination in Bristol. Matt is a kite surfing, mountain biking, guitar playing, pastry eating ex RE teacher, previously known as "Lev the Rev" to his students. Matt is particularly interested in helping people put the pieces together when exploring faith, and helping people engage with God in new ways.
Matt has Friday as his day off.
Will and Sophie Burditt
Pioneer ministers to Old Sarum and Longhedge
Will and Sophie are part of a community that live on Old Sarum whose hearts are for serving both Old Sarum and Longhedge. They live in a house which is there to be an extension of church. The goal is to provide opportunities for people to engage with God through groups at the community centre or in the comfort of a living room or over the dinner table. They hope you will find a listening ear, prayer, and time and space to connect with God in their home and within the community.
Dan is married to Becca and they have a lovely little boy called Ben. They moved down to Salisbury from Sheffield in 2014. Dan has a BA hons in Christian Youth Work and is JNC qualified. He loves to ride his bike as much as possible and enjoys playing his guitar too. He also really enjoys a good cup of tea.
Children’s and Family Leader
Katie has been married to Jamie for 10 years and they have three super children (most of the time!) She has trained and worked in childcare for nearly 20 years. In her spare time she loves tea and cake, the seaside, the Green Bay Packers, gardening and the latest John Grisham.
Dave is married to Emily and has recently moved to Salisbury after 7 years in London leading worship and running his own music teaching business. He enjoys watching and playing cricket, shopping for really old books and drinking coffee.
Jane has previously run an English language school in Rome, office managed a Danish software and training company and been a schools adviser for Salisbury Diocese. Jane has three children, Giulia, Chiara and Isabella and spends as much time as she can travelling to new places with them together with their very naughty Labrador, Eli.
