St Francis Youth at the Lounge
At St Francis Church, we have a fantastic Youth Lounge (at the Lounge) with space to hang out, chill, grab a drink or some sweets, play video games or kick a ball around outside in the courtyard. What makes our groups at the Lounge really great is the people who come along to our groups and enjoy themselves every week. We’d love to see you there too, so come and try one of them out. It could be the best decision you ever make!
What groups can I come to if I’m in year 6-8?
On Sunday mornings during the 11am service, Fuse AM meets in the youth lounge where we hang out eating toast, having a drink, sitting round on sofas and have some discussion about a topic from the Bible, exploring what it means to have faith.
Every Monday during term time something amazing happens, and its called Anti-Gravity. Between 6.30 & 8.00pm young people come and hang out in the youth lounge and make use of all the facilities we have available including our top notch tuck shop. Sometimes we do crazy, stupid activities together to have a laugh. It only cost £1 to come along but if its your first time, you’re welcome to come along for free. We’d love to see you there!
What about if I’m in year 9-13?
On Sunday evenings during term, Fuse PM meets in the youth lounge. We talk about life & the Bible. Some weeks arrange other activities like raising support for charities or helping other people. we. Most of all we love to hang out together, getting to know each other, having fun, building great friendship and exploring what is means to live life. Fuse PM runs between 7 & 9(ish)pm.
Do any other groups use St Francis Youth Lounge?
Run by Mencap South Wilts, our club is designed to support young people with additional learning needs, offering them a safe community where they can come and have fun on a Thursday evening.
All the work with young people at the Lounge is co-ordinated by Dan Inglis. If you’d like more information about any of our groups or you have any questions than you can contact here
